Fake it! is a song which has been through the mill a bit. Now with an even newer chorus, (but still lacking in vocal talent for which I apologize profusely) I've uploaded it again as a solo effort. This is a song about when relationships go wrong, and the emotions that exist at about this time. You may have been there yourself when a relationship comes to the end and the other person becomes somewhat of a stranger, and you question everything that you shared before. There comes a time when you need to decide to make a clean break - or is it worth hanging on in there? To this end, the song could be performed by either gender.
This europop song really needs a good strong singer as it is quite hi-nrg I think - either male or female. The song title says it all really, apply it to anyone or anything if you feel like it. I wish I could sing better as there are extra parts for the chorus to help lift it out of the arrangement - but I just couldn't sing them without it sounding even more like a strangled cat - but I wanted some"yeah yeah yeah yeah"s after the phrases in the chorus
Hope you all enjoy it anyway !
This is my latest song - sorry about the vocals - it's me and I really can't sing - but you get the general idea of what the song should sound like if sung properly! So if there's a good male singer out there want's a crack at it please get in touch. I was experimenting with the production aspect during th eintro - trying to get a sound to almost pan in a circle - not sure if it worked though or whether it's just my perception. Let me know if it works for you?
Hi. I'm quite new to VOX and it's only just dawned on me that I should actually post songs to the groups so that others might see/hear what I'm doing. If this is NOT what I should be doing, can someone let me know?
Sunny Day is a track that was inspired by the imagery you can see in the T-Mobile TV adverts, a kind of chilled out urban place and of course it's sunny ! It's a song about taking time out in your day to kick back and enjoy the little things in life.
All the love is a love song reaching out from "the other side". It could be telling a story of a love shared between two people separated by loss after a life time together. It's got a nice gospel-like feel to it.
